Classes… always a bore. Today was a really good day. Allyson and I finally made it to Primark. I bought two pairs of cheap jeans to wear while backpacking, as well as two sweaters that I absolutely love, a blouse, some zebra socks, and a glitter umbrella. I am very happy with my purchases.

We rushed back to the Centre to drop off our purchases and change, because we had a date with the Cuban Ballet! We got dressed up, and then went to Zizzi’s for dinner. We had a fabulous dinner. We ordered a bread board appetizer (yum). Allyson ordered some kind of chicken pizza that looked really good. I ordered Ravioli Di Capra – golden pasta envelopes of goat’s cheese and spinach with a fresh Santos tomato sauce and pesto. It was amazing! So good! To finish off our really good meal, we shared a cinnamon gelato. Yum!

We were bursting as we hurried to the tube to get to the London Coliseum. We had great seats in the dress circle to see the Ballet Nacional de Cuba. We saw Ballet Nacional De Cuba’s Magia De La Danza, a mixed bill which highlights extracts from seven of the company’s most famous ballets. It was a great taster. We say scenes from Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, and Gottschalk Symphony. My favorite was Don Quixote, because the male dancers were dressed as matadors and had red capes that they incorporated into their dancing. It was very well done. The other two that I really enjoyed were Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia. The dancing was phenomenal. I really enjoyed it.
