Classes – oh boy! Our class schedule got shifted forward by 45 minutes, and religion was taken out, because we all went to Wigmore Hall for a concert by Janine Jansen and Itamar Golan. The concert was really good. Janine is so talented. Wasn’t my choice for a group outing, but it was still enjoyable. After the concert, we walked along Oxford Street and went to Ben’s Cookies. I am still not really a fan of Ben’s, even though everyone at the Centre is obsessed with them. Probably a good thing that I don’t like them as much as everyone else does.
Allyson and I ran all over the city trying to find the Theatre where Billy Eliot is playing. We finally made it to Victoria Station. Billy Eliot didn’t have any good seats available, so we ran across the street and bought Wicked tickets for £25 (student discount). I love student discount tickets, because usually you get the best seats for half the price. Our seats were in the fourth row of the stalls, in the very center of the stage. Perfect seats!

I really enjoyed seeing Wicked for a third time (Los Angeles, New York, and now London). I thought that Glinda did a really good job, but I was not a big fan of Elphaba. Elphie had a great voice, she just liked to put her own twists and flare into the music, and I got tired of it. She was very talented, just showed it off too much. She was also rather short. I also really liked Buck, I thought he was good. I cracked up when Fiyero came on stage, because while he was good looking, his pants were way too tight. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. He was very tall, handsome, had really cute dimples, but something about his appearance was different. He had a fantastic voice, and was a really good dancer, but he was not my favorite Fiyero. I still love the Fiyero in New York!
On the way home, we ran into Margaret, her mother, and her grandmother on the tube. They had seen Wicked too! I love running into people I know it the city.
Fun night!
