Well… I didn’t leave the Centre all day today. I’ll let you think I was being productive or something… Anyways, in the evening we went to see Oliver! We started out with crappy seats in the stalls. They were on the edge of row ZZ. Couldn’t see the top of the stage, but at intermission we jumped up and got better seats. The rest of the play was a lot of fun. I didn’t like the beginning so much, but I loved the music. My favorite song was “Who Will Buy.” I also really liked “I’d Do Anything,” “As Long As He Needs Me,” “Boy For Sale,” and “Food, Glorious Food!” Pretty much all of them!

After the performance, Allyson and I found Drury Lane behind the theatre, but we were very disappointed to not find the muffin man, or even a muffin store. When we were heading back to the tube station, we realized that we were following some of the little boys who played the orphans and other rolls in Oliver!. They were so cute with their accents. They were messing around with each other, teasing one of their friends, and then burst out into “I’d Do Anything.” I melted! It was adorable, and they sounded amazing. Allyson and I want to adopt British children… haha!

Ergh! Well once we got back to the Centre we had to go do some homework we had been procrastinating. Well we procrastinated some more, and finally finished our mythology papers around 6am. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Won’t be doing that again!
